Most actors would probably be willing to off someone to score a role as iconic as James Bond. Scottish film legend Sean Connery did, starring in seven of the series’ films.
He later had extremely memorable turns in the crime epic The Untouchables, adventure classic Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and thriller The Hunt for Red October. While his last on-screen appearance came in 2003’s The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and his last voice role came with 2012’s children’s animated film Sir Billi, Connery is now enjoying retirement.
