Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom holds two distinctions – she is the world’s current longest reigning monarch, and – at 92 – the oldest head of state as well.
Her coronation ceremony took place on June, 1953, and she doesn’t seem like she’s ready to give up the throne just yet. She has, however, made some concessions due to her advancing years, and doesn’t travel abroad anymore, but she’s still present in person for all major events, such as royal engagements and the most recent royal wedding between Meghan Markle and her grandson Prince Harry.
