It seems like Bob Newhart has always been around, certainly for the younger people among us. A comedian since birth, his deadpan delivery and quick it launched his show business career.
He’s probably best known for his two self-titled sitcoms – The Bob Newhart Show and Newhart – which ran for six and eight years respectively. Another memorable turn came in the Christmas movie Elf, in which he played Papa Elf. Somehow, the octogenarian comic is still ticking, with an impressive work schedule – just like year he appeared in The Librarians, Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory!
