We think that if Hal Holbrook stops acting, something bad might happen. There’s no other reason we can think of to explain why this 93-year-old actor is still busily chugging away in Hollywood.
Beginning in 1954, and his critically-acclaimed one-man show, he went on to play informant Deep Throat in political thriller All the President’s Men, which cemented his star status, and then appeared in Holocaust drama Julia and supernatural horror film The Fog. Like we said, he’s still acting, and could be seen just last year in episodes of Bones, Grey’s Anatomy, and Hawaii Five-0.
