Over the span of five decades – starting with the 1960s and ending with the 2000s – Lockhart was a mainstay of American television, having appears in a multitude of shows running the gamut from soap operas like Knots Landing, to science-fiction series such as Babylon 5 and sitcoms like Bewitched.
She’s best known, perhaps, for playing two mother roles: the first in Lassie and the second in Lost in Space. At 93, she’s taking things a little easier these days, and we’d say she’s more than earned it.
