[post_page_title]Robert Clary – 92 years old[/post_page_title]
Clary’s most famous role was a memorable one – that of Corporal Louis LeBeau on 1960s mainstay comedy about a World War Two prisoner of war camp, Hogan’s Heroes.

The role was especially poignant for the Jewish actor, as he was himself imprisoned in a concentration camp during the war. Before his imprisonment, Clary was also a professional singer, a job he returned to after his release and the war’s end. His tunes became all the rage on both sides of the Atlantic, scoring hits in the U.S. and France, but he is now enjoying a well-earned retirement.
