This actress was a household name in the United States, albeit for a relatively short period of time, for her role as Alice Mitchell on the CBS comedy Dennis the Menace, which was the famous comic strip’s first adaptation, running from 1959 to 1963.
She was already an industry veteran at that point, having appears in films and TV for a decade prior. After the show’s cancellation, however, her appearances became sporadic, but never completely disappeared, with her last appearance coming with a 2012 guest spot on comedy Parks and Recreation.
