The 1960s was a magical decade, and it’s therefore a small wonder that not one but two magically themed sitcoms graced television screens.
The first was Bewitched, that got the nation clamoring for more supernatural laughs, so along came I Dream of Jeannie, with Barbara Eden in the titular role. Countless more film and television roles followed, but she couldn’t seem to shake that one iconic role. Oh, well, if you can’t beat them, join them – at 78, Eden again donned her Jeannie garb for charity at the 21st Vienna Life Ball. Her most latest credit was voiceover work for an animated show… about girl genies.
