Considering her age, it should come as no shock that actress Diana Serra Cary’s heyday came almost a century ago. In fact, she was one of the silent era of cinema’s biggest child stars, notching more than 150 films in the space of a few short years.
She eventually felt she had gotten all that she could out of the profession, and moved onto a new one – writing. She has since authored several books, including a historical novel and her autobiography, dishing all of the dirt about her life as a child star in cinema’s earliest days.
