Mike Eruzione is a legendary hero in the Olympian universe. In the 1980 Winter Games, Eruzione led the U.S.A. to victory against the Soviet Union and was dubbed the “miracle on ice.” The hockey event has gone down as one of the greatest victories in gold medal history.

Since retiring from professional ice hockey, Mike has returned to his alma mater, Boston University, to work as the Director of Special Outreach. In 2002, he returned to the Olympics with his 1980’s team to light the cauldron at the opening ceremony. He is married with two children.
