[post_page_title]Kristi Yamaguchi[/post_page_title]
Kristi Yamaguchi was a pop culture phenomenon just as much as she was a figure skating prodigy. From a young age, her love of the ice was undeniable and she won her first gold medal at the 1992 Winter Olympics. She’s also a two-time World Champion and the 1992 United States Champion of figure skating.

After a brief, yet successful career, Yamaguchi entered retirement and the world of children’s books. In 2011, she authored a book with her partner Tim Bowers and was the crowned champion on season six of Dancing with the Stars. Kristi also appears as the occasional figure skating analyst on NBC during Olympic season.
