Rulon E Garden won two Olympic medals in wrestling. His first was the gold medal in the 2000 Sydney 130kg Greco-Roman wrestling. His second was a bronze medal in the 2004 Athens Olympics.

He has been through many unfortunate events, including being punctured in the abdomen by an arrow, separated from his friends after falling through ice in Salt River, as well well as surviving an airplane crash at Lake Powell.  After his wrestling career he became a motivational speaker and was on the Biggest Loser in 2011.
