At the 1984 Olympic Games, Carl Lewis earned 4 Olympic gold medals. Overall, the track and field star has 9 Olympic gold medals and 10 World Championships under his belt. From 1982 until 1984, Lewis was named Sports Illustrated Magazine’s Athlete of the Year.
