Let’s be honest; fortune cookies can be pretty savage. You think they’re going to change your life for the better and place you on a path to success, but sometimes they just burst your bubble and bring you crashing back down to earth. That’s what they do.
This fortune is no different. Reading the first line, the recipient probably imagined themselves lying on a bed of money and making it rain down on them. Reading the second line, however, was a whole different story. That had to hurt.
