Funny-gal Sandra Bernhard was offered the role of Miranda in the HBO hit, SATC, alongside Sarah Jessica Parker. The actress turned down the role in a very vocal way, she went on the Howard Stern radio show and talked about how bad the script was, how low the pay was and how she didn’t like Sarah Jessica Parker and couldn’t imagine working with her for a time.
Well, we are sure Sandra would later eat her words as the show’s success made it a classic, and the role of Miranda went to Cynthia Nixon, who, at this point is totally synonymous with Miranda.
