Fox originally came to the former Baywatch star and supermodel to take on the role of paranormal FBI investigator Dana Scully for X Files before the show started filming. But she turned it down, enabling Gillian Anderson to get her start in acting.
And after nearly a decade of the show, we are sure glad they made that decision. It would have been nice to see Anderson running in slow motion after an alien though.
