This could have been a very romantic twist! Bruce Willis was offered the role of Sam Wheat, alongside his wife at the time, Demi Moore. Willis turned the role down because of the very fact that Demi was in it and he thought that together they couldn’t do it justice.
The role went to actor, Patrick Swayze, who nailed the romantic and distraught part of the ghost, in Ghost, like no other could have.
