Actress Dana Delaney was offered the leading role of Carrie Bradshaw in the super successful show, SATC. The show’s creator, Darren Star, initially wanted Delaney to play the role, but she turned it down because of the amount of explicit discussion in the script.
The role ended up going to Sarah Jessica Parker (thank goodness!) who absolutely nailed the iconic role, and made Carrie the chic style icon we know and love to this day. Delaney has most recently starred in the show, Body of Proof.
