Katie, Katie, Katie, how silly were you for turning down the role of Buffy Summers, in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Holmes turned down the role to finish up her high school years; while that’s admirable, she absolutely missed out on one of the greatest roles of all time.
Sarah Michelle Gellar ended up getting the role of Buffy, although she initially auditioned for the role of Cordelia, producers offered her the lead and she, smartly, accepted!
