This we couldn’t even wrap our heads around – Harrison Ford as Oskar Schindler? We don’t think so. Harrison Ford was offered the role by producers, a role of the German industrialist who saved thousands of Jews during World War II, a role that is as vital in its casting as it is in its portrayal.
Ford turned the role down after saying that he felt that audiences wouldn’t be able to look beyond the ‘Harrison Ford’ brand and into the character itself. The role ended up going to Liam Neeson, whose acting was spectacular and his portrayal as authentic as seemed fit.
