Jurassic Park is a true classic, loved by kids as well as adults. The first installment, directed by Steven Spielberg, was a fantastic adventure (or survival) story set in an amusement park with real-life dinosaurs. Over a decade after the third Jurassic Park movie was released, came the “reboot” – or fourth installment of the series, Jurassic World.
Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt took on the roles of a park executive and a dinosaur trainer, trying to cope with the consequences after the lethal, genetically engineered Indominus rex escapes. Jurassic World ended up being a huge hit, and along came the sequel – Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. But the moment viewers saw Chris Pratt’s character being rescued by a T-Rex yet again, they knew it would be an unoriginal attempt to duplicate its predecessor’s success.
