Star Wars fans are known to be one of the most zealous fandoms in the world. The franchise, one of the most influential and iconic in film history, has a cult-like following of fans who feel passionately about it.
They also feel passionately about how its sequels should be made – especially the modern-day ones. When The Last Jedi came out, it received backlash from the fans. One of the problems was they didn’t like the film’s modern sense of humor – some said that when Poe Dameron made his “your mama” joke, they knew the whole thing would be awful.
