Split had a very interesting premise – a person who supposedly has 23 personalities (with another that apparently has yet to come to surface) who kidnaps three teenaged girls. What could have been a deep exploration of mental disorders, ended up being unrealistic and disappointing.

It wasn’t bad – especially with James McAvoy’s stellar performance – but it could’ve been so much better, if it hadn’t only been an instrument to eventually continue the saga of M. Night Shyamalan’s Unbreakable.
