Ben Affleck’s Batman had a tough act to follow after Nolan’s Batman trilogy had concluded. Unfortunately, many feel like no amount of great acting could have saved this story. Fans were excited to see how it all works out; after all – how could they compare?
Fans felt the characters lacked anything other than dark feelings, a confusing path, not to mention the insurmountable plot holes that movie makers could take years trying to justify. Ultimately, in an era of superhero movies, this one doesn’t make the cut.
