On paper, this seems like it would be a great movie. There’s no shortage of films about mankind’s journey to taking its first steps on the moon, but this one focuses on the first attempt that succeeds in doing so. And it stars Ryan Gosling, so how could you go wrong? Well, there is one way.
The runtime on this movie is two hours and 22 minutes, which – you’ll have to trust us on this one – is way too long. The movie drags on with an incredibly slow pace, and many viewers resented this fact – especially since it’s one of the most exciting events in history, and could’ve been much more thrilling.
