[post_page_title]Wonder Wheel[/post_page_title]
Some say Wonder Wheel may mark the beginning of the end for Woody Allen’s successful movie career. The film focuses on a middle-aged waitress (Kate Winslet) who meets a young lifeguard (Justin Timberlake), and hopes he could save her from her loveless marriage – that is, until he meets her step-daughter and falls in love with her.

Wonder Wheel

Justin Timberlake was way out of his league in this flick, and it’s noticeable from the very second he begins narrating the film. And while Kate’s acting was wonderful as ever, even she couldn’t make her character likable in any way. At the end of the day, the film just lacked the charm of other Woody Allen films.
