In Ant-Man, we were introduced to the Quantum Realm, an alternate dimension that can only be accessed through magical energy or subatomic shrinking – which is what Ant-Man does in the movie.
Time and space are deemed irrelevant in this dimension, which could by the key to how the Avengers will resolve the infinity stone situation. Ant-Man can actually take the infinity stones and move them to the Quantum Realm, thus making sure no one could ever find them again.
