Doctor Strange was a pretty great movie, but when we last saw the good doctor, he was only a trainee, who wasn’t nearly ready enough to take on a titan like Thanos.
This made us wonder how is it possible that Doctor Strange is as powerful as he is in Infinity War. Our question has been answered by co-writer C. Robert Cargill. In the movie, Strange was bargaining with Dormammu repeatedly thanks to the time stone, and apparently he was there long enough to master the potential of his powers.
