When asked about how would they go about promoting the new Spider-Man movie, which is set to be released next year, the writers joked that two hours of Aunt May crying could be great.
On a more serious note, Markus and McFeely said that they are aware the situation poses a problem, as the filming will start soon and fans could be given spoilers as to Spider-Man’s fate. Their suggestion to the fans who wanted to avoid spoilers was to “stay off the internet for a year.”
