In Thor, we can actually see the Infinity Gauntlet in Odin’s trophy room, so how did it get to the hands of Thanos? Well, the explanation is simple enough.
In Thor: Ragnarok, Thor’s evil sister Hela alludes to the fact that the gauntlet in the trophy room is actually a fake, and not the real one. Thanos has the weapon-making dwarf Eitri make him a gauntlet that can harness the power of the stones, to give him complete power over the universe.
