[post_page_title]Then: Ed Marinaro[/post_page_title]
Ed Marinaro was known as Laverne and Shirley’s landlord in Burbank and worked as a stuntman for his day job. Ed Marinaro’s character was supposed to be a love interest for Penny Marshall’s Laverne but he was written out of the show after several episodes; Marinaro decided to leave Laverne & Shirley to star in Hill Street Blues. Before his departure, he was seen on-screen as the muscular, shirtless, hunk named Sonny St. Jacques.
