After Laverne & Shirley, Phil Foster made many television appearances on shows that include The Ed Sullivan Show, Love Boat, Toast of the Town, This Is Show Business, and The Patty Duke Show. In his spare time, Foster ran a comedy workshop for young actors trying to get their start in the entertainment industry. He stated “They have new, fresh ideas and I love helping them get started. The only thing I ask in return is that when these youngsters are established, they help others on their way.” At the age of 72, Phil Foster passed away of a myocardial infarction. He is survived by 2 children.
