After his Laverne & Shirley days, David L. Lander made few publicized appearances and lived a moderate lifestyle. He married his second wife, Kathy Fields, in 1979 and they have one daughter together named Natalie. He did, however, continue to work in the entertainment industry as a voice-over actor, composer, and a musician. At one point, Lander was a baseball scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Seattle Miners. Previously, he also acted as the Goodwill Ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
