David L. Lander played the lovable goofball Andrew “Squiggy” Squiggman on Laverne & Shirley until the show’s final season. Squiggy lives in the apartment upstairs from Laverne and Shirley with his roommate, Lenny. As a character, Squiggy was fairly obnoxious and at times, the most annoying member of the sitcom ensemble. He was obsessed with his stuffed iguana, Jeffrey, and was always hatching a new get-rich-quick scheme that was seemingly half-baked. Fans recognized this character before he made his on-screen entrance by his trademark greeting “hello.”
