Believe it or not, one of the things that helped Ancient Egypt become one of the world’s first superpowers was the construction of these colossal pyramids.
In order to build these insanely huge structures, the Egyptians needed money. To get this all important cash, they expanded their empire to tax more people, grow more crops, and sell more products. They also traded far and wide in order to get the raw materials needed to build these enormous tombs.
