Merer also wrote about a canal system that no archeologist had theorized about. It was revealed in the papyrus that engineers constructed man made canals to make it easier to transport building materials.
The canals started directly at the Nile and stretched to the area where the pyramids were built. So where did these building materials originate from? In addition to revealing how the pyramids were constructed, Merer also explained who was behind them.
