During a Vogue interview in 2012, Marisa was asked if she hula-hooped. She answered, “Yes. [Laughs] One of my best friends lived on the opposite end of town and she suggested we meet somewhere in the middle and do something silly. She found a hula-hooping class that was great because we were just doing tricks and playing around, but it was such a challenging workout. It’s fun and uplifting. My foot was hurting the other day, so I just hula-hooped in the living room for forty minutes as a workout.”
