Marissa played herself in two episodes in 1996. In the episode, George Costanza tried to land a date with Tomei through a mutual friend, Elaine Benes. Seinfeld audiences went crazy over Tomei being on the show. Marisa was also introduced to a whole new demographic of audiences through going back to television appearances. Her two-part appearance had us all laughing and Marisa at a new high.
