It must be exhausting interviewing people on the red carpet of an awards ceremony. You have to talk to many different celebrities before the show, and you need to get so much out of each person before moving on.
However, that doesn’t excuse the awkward comment that someone made to Rashida Jones during the 2015 SAG Awards. When the interviewer told the actress that she had a nice tan, Jones responded that she was “ethnic.” She hadn’t been spending time in the sun; this was just her natural skin color.
