It seems that 2009 was the year for stage invaders at the MTV Video Music Awards. Not only did Kanye West ruin Taylor Swift’s special moment, but Lil Mama also hogged the limelight when Jay-Z and Alicia Keys performed.
The duo were singing their hit ‘Empire State of Mind’ when the young rapper gatecrashed at the end. Jay-Z wasn’t happy about the interference, claiming that Lil Mama was out of line for her behavior. Fortunately, it seems that since the incident, the gatecrasher has seen the error of her ways.
