Announcing the wrong name at an award ceremony is one of the worst things you can do. Unfortunately, it’s happened on multiple occasions, including at the 2015 Miss Universe pageant. Steve Harvey announced that Miss Colombia was the winner when it was actually Miss Philippines who’d reigned victorious.
Unfortunately, Harvey wasn’t quick to fix his mistake. The contestant from Colombia had already received her prize when the host awkwardly revealed the mix-up. It’s one of the most embarrassing moments in TV history, and it’s something neither woman will ever forget.
