As injustices in Hollywood continue to come to light, plenty of actors have found the courage to speak out against them. They believe that if change is going to happen, people have to be brave enough to fight for it.
That’s why, when Natalie Portman and Ron Howard presented the Best Director award at the 2018 Golden Globes, the former had some choice words about the category. She criticized the lack of female talent in the running when she announced the “all-male nominees,” leaving some viewers squirming in their seats.
