It takes a lot of work behind the scenes to bring an awards ceremony to life. If it wasn’t for everyone doing their part backstage, these things would never run smoothly. Of course, given all the activity happening back there, it’s inevitable that someone will end up on camera when they’re not supposed to.
That’s what happened at the 2013 Emmy Awards when Neil Patrick Harris was hosting. The crew member realized they were in the shot and slowly moved out of sight, although not before being noticed.
