If you’ve ever watched Lost, you’ll know that Jack Shephard was kind of a big deal. As the leader of the group found stranded on an island, it’s his job to try and keep morale high and to get them out alive.
Because of this, it might surprise you to know that Jack was originally supposed to be written out of the show after the pilot episode. Before this news came about, Michael Keaton was all set to take on the short role. When he realized that it would be a much bigger commitment, he decided against it.
