It’s always strange to know that an actor or actress who plays one of your favorite TV characters wasn’t the first choice, but this was definitely the case for The Good Wife.
While most of us know Juliana Margulies as Alicia Florrick, it might surprise you to know that Elisabeth Shue was actually offered the part before her. Producers were impressed with her audition, but the actress decided to turn the role down because she wanted to focus on her family at that time.
