Cesar learned one main English sentence to help him along the way: “Do you have application for work?”
With this, Cesar astonishingly landed himself a job as a part-time dog groomer, despite knowing very little English, and having no way to prove he was trustworthy. Much to his disbelief, they allowed him to handle the dogs almost instantly – maybe they could just sense his natural ability? He continued to work as many hours he could at the groomer’s office, to prove his worth in America.
