In 2015, another lawsuit thrust Cesar back into the controversy spotlight. A pit bull named Gus attacked a nurse, just six days after his release from Cesar’s Dog Psychology Center.
Allegedly, Gus’ owners had fallen behind with payments, and Cesar’s team had no choice but to request the owner remove the dog from their facilities. Gus’ owner took him back, but after attacking Alison Bitney, a lawsuit began, where Alison claimed that they had released a dangerous dog back to an owner that they knew could not control it.
