The origin of the Amish tradition and faith lies with a Swiss man called Jakob Ammann. He’s thought to be the founding father of the Amish. He was the one to preach of the Bible in all it’s literal sense.
As mentioned before, the Amish adhere to the ten commandments and the puritan form of the biblical word. They take no shortcuts and are very stern with their laws and rigid in their change.
