The Amish get confused with another conservative religious community, called the Mennonites. The major difference between the two is that the Mennonites use modern technology while the Amish refrain entirely.
Try not to confuse between the two, they don’t like it. The Amish do not have any kind of modern device, not electricity, machinery, running water, or communication devices. They live entirely off the land, meaning fire, wood, hand done works, and their own communication techniques.
