For three years, McGann played the patriarch of the Reynolds until 2002. The actor enjoyed his time on the show and he was even quoted saying that despite his initial reservations ‘Within minutes of arriving I felt I knew what I was doing here and I was enjoying it.
There’s good and bad in every genre, whether it’s films, television or theatre, but I have to say I think I’ve picked a good soap.’ McGann serves as a public speaker of science, after all, he has a master’s degree in Science Communication from Imperial College London.
